We still use Key Associations. But not ...Hi Vicky,<br /><br />We still use Key Associations. But not for subjects. In the 2nd edition of the manual (1992), it had both Subjects AND Key Associations, with an explanation that Key Associations was to be used for "a name of a person, or group, a place name, and/or event that is closely related or associated with the object..."<br /><br />However we do not use it for this, rather for listing the register number and object name of similar or associated objects in the collection, that are not linked in other ways in the catalogue. eg a pennant for when the Queen visited Traralgon, and the published souvenir for the day.<br /><br />Cheers<br /><br />LindaLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06205010291496207355noreply@blogger.com
